David M. Perry

David Perry formed TeamCo in April 2002. He shapes the firm’s business philosophy and investment approach. He has been an active hedge fund investor for over 21 years. Previously, he was the founder, Chairman, and CEO of Certus Asset Advisors, an institutional asset management firm. When Certus was acquired by Mellon Bank in 1995, the firm managed in excess of $7 billion for approximately 30 retirement and savings plans. Mr. Perry earned a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
Robert A. McCormish
Principal | Senior Managing Director
Rob McCormish joined TeamCo in March 2006. He is responsible for TeamCo’s operations, administration, and compliance requirements, and he oversees accounting and client servicing. He has over 28 years of experience in investment management operations. With David Perry, he successfully grew the investment management business at Certus Asset Advisors over a 12-year period until Perry left in 1998. Mr. McCormish then served as the CEO of Certus from 1998 to 2003 and subsequently ran the stable value unit at Standish-Mellon Asset Management. He earned an AB in Economics from Harvard University and an MBA in Finance from San Francisco State University.
Kurt L. Braitberg, CFA, CAIA
Managing Director
Kurt Braitberg joined TeamCo in March 2006. He is responsible for managing the firm’s investment process and portfolio allocations. He has over 25 years of investment management experience in research, due diligence, asset allocation, portfolio management, and trading. Before joining TeamCo, Mr. Braitberg was a Principal at Thomas Weisel Partners, a San Francisco-based merchant bank, where he allocated more than $2 billion in investment capital. He also has worked in the asset management business units of Paribas Asset Management in Paris and Union Bank of Switzerland in New York. He earned a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Northern Colorado.
Aimee F. Kish, CAIA
Managing Director
Aimee Kish joined TeamCo September 2011. She is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm’s research efforts. She has 16 years of experience in the financial services industry and has worked extensively with hedge funds in a variety of roles. Ms. Kish previously worked in Prime Brokerage and Alternative Investments at UBS in San Francisco. For 10 years, she worked at JPMorgan in New York, holding positions in Equity Capital Markets, Equity Research, and Equity Sales and Trading. She earned a BA in Economics from Bucknell University and an MBA in Finance from The Stern School of Business at New York University.
Savannah T. Crowley, CAIA
Managing Director
Savannah Crowley joined TeamCo in August 2009. She is responsible for overseeing the firm’s operational efforts, including portfolio accounting and administration, data systems and process development, and technical/analytical support for hedge fund due diligence. She has eight years of experience in the financial services industry. Ms. Crowley previously worked on infrastructure development initiatives with Hall Capital Partners, a San Francisco-based investment advisor. She earned a BA and MA in English from Northern Arizona University, an MA in International Studies from the University of San Francisco, and an MBA from the University of California Haas School of Business.
Sreyansh Jain, CFA, CAIA
Director
Sreyansh Jain joined TeamCo in May 2015. He is responsible for the design and development of quantitative systems and processes for hedge fund manager research and portfolio management. He has over four years of investment management experience in quantitative research. Before joining TeamCo, Mr. Jain was a Portfolio Analyst at Capital Strategy Group, a Syracuse, NY-based investment management firm. He earned a B.Tech in Electronics from Indraprastha University, an MBA in Finance from Syracuse University, and an MFE from the University of California Haas School of Business. He is a CFA® Charterholder and holds the CAIA designation.
Leanne ten Brinke, Ph.D.
Strategic Advisor
Leanne ten Brinke, Ph.D. works with TeamCo as a strategic advisor. She collaborates closely with the firm’s research team, conducting behavioral analysis for signals of honesty, personality, and leadership ability. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Denver, where her research focuses on nonverbal behavior and social cognition. Dr. ten Brinke was previously a Banting Postdoctoral Fellow in the Haas School of Business and Department of Psychology at UC Berkeley. She earned a BS in Psychology from Dalhousie University and a Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia in 2012, where she examined the behavioral consequences of emotional, high-stakes deception.
